Conservatives will make medicine more expensive

Doug Ford’s fight against health care means families pay more out of pocket for medicine.

Days after getting elected in 2018, Ford’s Conservatives cut OHIP+ - canceling public coverage of prescriptions like asthma inhalers, insulin and birth control for young people.

Ford says he’s ready to put up a fight to block a national pharmacare plan.

He’ll keep medication costs up for families while he takes lobbyist meetings, donations, and hires staff from big pharma companies.

Andrea Horwath’s universal pharmacare plan will save a family about $350 a year.
